Trial Flights and Gift Vouchers 

 

Have you ever dreamt of taking the controls of an aircraft or know someone who does?  Make dreams a reality with our Trial Flight Experiences. Whether it's a one off experience, a gift or you're looking into training, we can help with a great range of experiences to choose from.

Trial Flights start at £125 for a 30 minute flight around the Lydd local area in a two-seater Cessna 152, or £235 for an hour allowing you to fly up to Canterbury and along the coast. We do, however, accommodate other requests if possible. We also offer a 30 minute trial flight for £140 or a one-hour flight for £265 in a four-seat Piper Warrior which allows the student to fly the aircraft and up to two others to accompany them in the back.

 

If you are looking for something special, take a trip into the past with a trial flight in our “open cockpit bi-plane”, the Boeing Stearman.  We offer 30 minutes for £290.00 and 1 hour for £490.00. (Available April to September)

 

Gift vouchers are available enabling the recipient to book a convenient time. Alternatively, you may wish to book a particular date as a surprise.  The vouchers are obtainable from us through our website, over the phone or by sending a cheque for the correct amount made payable to T G Aviation Ltd (please give the student’s name for our records). The voucher will then be sent to you by return post.

 

Next to our office at Lydd there is a restaurant and viewing area overlooking the runway where family and friends are welcome.  

The company provides a modern fleet of aircraft for training and private hire and a very experienced team of flying instructors.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased for all of our Trial Flights. We will honor any old vouchers that expired after the 15th march 2020 until 30th September 2021 initially. This will be reviewed further if we have been unable to fly these vouchers.
